We offer patch-packages for an existing Virtuemart setup. Virtuemart VMX is not a full Virtuemart package. Due to the nature of patch packages, it is not possible to check if the existing file is changed or extended by “hacks”. Existing files will be overwritten during the installation of the patch package. It is important that the user creates a backup of the existing files and database tables. We highly recommend Akeeba-Backup for this. |
