Virtuemart does not offer too much possibilites to create discounts. We have added a whole new discount structure to virtuemart! Add discounts to Categories, Products and Shoppergroups. Everything can be combined and has a top down structure: e.g. add a discount to a category and every product in this category will have this discount - add a discount to one product in the category, then only this product will receive the special discount - all others will still have the category-discount.
