New Support System |

Only one week after launch of the new Virtuemart Support Service we have updated our support system. To offer a better service to our customers, we have installed the professional Kayako Support Suite .
Kayako is one of the leading ticket systems and offers a wide range of features such as live support, various ticket handling options and integrated downloads and knowledge base. Unfortunately, Kayako is not a Joomla component. But we have put it directly into the website and have written some tools to make Kayako work with virtuemart and joomla. We are sure to make our support even more professional with this great tool! |

Finally... |

Hello Virtuemart users! A bit strange to start a first blog entry with "Finally..." - but we finally made it. We are on the last meters before starting our new virtuemart professional support service. A lot of things have been done in the last weeks since Soeren Eberhardt (Virtuemart Lead-Developer) came to us with the idea to build such a service.
A lot of questions had to be answered: is there a market for such a service? What is a OS-Software user willing to pay? How is it possible to offer a fair deal? Do we have the team? Do we have the tools? And - of course: do we have the knowledge? We tried to find an answer or a solution for all of these questions. The only open is the first one: "is there a market for such service?". Ok, now we will see. We have done everything to make it - as we think - a good deal for the community. The monthly prices for our support-club are much lower than regular hourly rates for programmers or supporters here in germany and much other countries over the world. We also have built a team that knows very much about Joomla, Virtuemart and a lot of other extensions. We are sure to cover nearly all VM-aspects. |
